Itineraries

Day 1

Cape Town airport - Cape Town

Meet and greet and transfer from Cape Town Airport. Our guide will meet you at the airport upon your arrival, assist you with any queries you may have before you embark on your holiday, and transfer you to your hotel.

Day 2

Private City Tour Half Day + Cableway

After breakfast, we pick you up from the hotel for a privately guided half-day city tour of Cape Town. Be captivated by the multiethnic character and historical wealth of the Mother City.
Today you will visit:
- The Company's Garden – a large public park, originally Jan van Riebeeck's vegetable garden, which he grew to feed the original colony as early as 1652;
South African Museum—the oldest museum in sub-Saharan Africa;
- Malay Quarter/ Bo-Kaap - is a vibrant and historically significant neighborhood in Cape Town. It is known for its colorful houses, rich cultural heritage, and Cape Malay community.
- Green Market Square—is a bustling public square located in the heart of Cape Town. It is one of the oldest marketplaces in the city and has a rich history dating back to the 17th century.
- Marvel at the views of Cape Town from the aerial cableway and plateau on Table Mountain. The cable cars depart every 10 to 15 minutes and rotate 360 degrees as they travel up to 302 meters above sea level, giving passengers panoramic views over the city. Five minutes is all it
takes to reach the summit and once there you can marvel at the views, have a bite to eat in the restaurant or do a bit of shopping at the extensive curio shop. The cableway only operates when weather permits.
- Short Diamond factory tour—allows you to learn more about the diamond business in South Africa.

Day 3

Private full-day Cape Peninsula

We’ll head out after breakfast today for a full day exploring the stunning Cape Peninsula. Your day is one packed with isolated beaches, unspoiled landscapes, quaint villages, and the unique wildlife that makes the region so popular.

Our day starts with the idyllic beaches of Clifton & Camps Bay before we head over to the bustling fishing town of Hout Bay. While here, you’ll take a boat out to Seal Island to spend a little time observing the playful mammals that lend the island their name.

A visit to Cape Point to see firsthand where the Indian and Atlantic Oceans meet is our next stop en route to the highlight of the day: the penguin colony of Simon’s Town! These adorable birds call the nearby Boulders Beach home, and you’ll get a chance to see them up close.

We’ll return to Cape Town in time for dinner.

Day 4

Hermanus

Today your journey will begin immediately after breakfast. You will travel to Hermanus, a coastal town in the Western Cape province of South Africa. It is renowned for its excellent whale-watching opportunities. It is considered one of the best land-based whale-watching destinations in the world.

During the season, you can see whales from both the coast and a boat. We have prepared the second option for you to get the best possible view of these giants.

Day 5

Travel to Knysna along the coast

After breakfast, you will continue on your way to Knysna. Keep your camera handy, all you have to do is drive along one of the most beautiful roads in the world, the Garden Route.

Arrive in Knysna late afternoon. Check into a hotel where you can rest from the road.

Day 6

Explore Knysna

Breakfast. Combine adventure and relaxation in Knysna. The picturesque town of Knysna along the Garden Route is surrounded by magnificent coastal forests and an extensive lagoon that boasts the town’s most famous landmark, the Knysna Heads. While the Heads provide a treacherous channel into the ocean, the lagoon itself is peaceful and ideal for boat cruises and water sports. The
Featherbed Nature Reserve lies on the southern Head and the beautiful Garden Route National Park is only a short drive from the town.
Discover the magnificent beaches of Plettenberg Bay, the Garden Route's "fashionable" seaside resort. Originally christened Bahia Formosa (beautiful bay) by early Portuguese explorers, Plettenberg Bay offers visitors miles of sweeping, unspoiled golden beaches, a dramatic rocky peninsula, intriguing lagoons and estuaries, towering indigenous forests, and unpolluted rivers and sea. With its exceptional climate and beautiful view sites over the Indian Ocean, Plettenberg Bay is perfect for tourists interested in exploring, watching, or just lazing.
