Once known as Matopos Hills National Park, this 44,500 hectare park is home to both Zimbabwe’s successful black and white rhinoceros breeding program and the final resting place of famed Imperialist, Cecil John Rhodes.

In addition to its variety of wildlife and its distinctive granite boulder strewn landscape, the Matobo Hills are a World Heritage site due to their long history as a cultural site. There are examples of rock art within the park that stretch back more than 13,000 years!
