Arrive at Ivato Airport, where our representative will warmly welcome you. Enjoy a seamless transfer to your hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 2
Antananarivo - Andasibe
After breakfast, we begin our journey with a visit to the Pereyras Farm. This unique farm specializes in butterfly breeding and is also home to chameleons, frogs, snakes, and bats. Enjoy lunch at a restaurant on the way before continuing to Andasibe Park. The thick, humid rainforests of this park are alive with the sounds of 11 different lemur species, including the famed indris. Many of the lemurs here are so habituated to humans that they barely notice approaching visitors, creating excellent opportunities for close wildlife encounters. This UNESCO-protected area consists of two distinct parks. Upon arrival, we will check into the hotel. If time permits, we will visit a local community-run reserve for a night walk, offering the chance to spot nocturnal wildlife.
Day 3
Andasibe National Park & Vakona Reserve
Early in the morning, we’ll take a walk with a local guide to explore this protected area, primarily covered by primary forest unique to the eastern side of Madagascar. The rainforest is home to many rare and endemic species, offering an incredible opportunity to experience its biodiversity. Among the fascinating creatures we may encounter is the Indri indri, the largest lemur, whose behavior will be explained by your guide. Other species, such as the Grey Bamboo lemur and Woolly lemur, also inhabit this area. The flora is equally remarkable, with several species of medicinal plants. After lunch, we will visit the crocodile park, where you can approach the crocodiles in a safe and serene environment. We’ll also visit an island with lemurs, observing them in their natural habitat. Return to the hotel afterward.
Day 4
Andasibe - Antananarivo
After breakfast, we’ll drive back to Antananarivo, arriving in the city for a tour. We’ll explore the upper town, including the Queen's Palace and the Prime Minister's Palace, before continuing to the middle town. Next, we’ll visit the flower market and the lower town, home to the Soarano station. We’ll also stop at the Digue market, where an array of local vendors offer various handmade products—perfect for picking up souvenirs at reasonable prices.
