Cancellation Policy

The following terms and conditions shall apply to bookings made during the COVID-19 health crisis in 2021/22:

Should a guests’ country of residence, or travel destination close its borders due to the COV19 pandemic, or a guest should become diagnosed with COV19* the following ‘COV19 cancellation’ terms will apply:

  • More than 120 days before arrival, the 20% deposit is refunded, net of bank/payment transaction/currency exchange charges and an admin fee of 3% of the booking value.
  • Between 120 and 46 days prior to arrival, the 20% deposit will be held in the form of a non-refundable credit note valid for 24 months from the date of issue. Any further balance to be refunded will be net of bank/payment transaction/currency exchange charges.
  • Between 45 days and 30 days, 50% of the full value will be held in the form of a non-refundable credit note valid for 24 months from the date of issue. Any further balance to be refunded will be net of bank/payment transaction/currency exchange charges.
  • Less than 30 days, and no shows, leaving a tour before completion – 100% is forfeited, BUT Iconic Expeditions supply guest with a non-refundable credit note with a validity of 24 months that can be used against a future booking.

*An official doctors’ note An official doctors’ note and proof of resident address will need to be supplied in order to be able to claim these amended terms.

CANCELLATION THAT IS NOT COVID RELATED

Less than 30 days and no shows -100% forfeited. Between 45 and 30 days – 50% of full value is forfeited. Between 46-120 days – deposit (30%) payable for the booking as per invoice is forfeited.
