Widely regarded as one of the most beautiful cities in the world, cosmopolitan Cape Town is a bustling cultural gem where countless cultures combine into one fascinating melting pot. Surrounded by some of South Africa’s most popular tourist destinations, a trip to Cape Town combines the glittering city’s night life and world-class luxury accommodations with the natural beauty of places like Table Mountain, the breathtaking Cape Peninsula, and the nearby wine regions.
Our seven-day Cape Town experience showcases the very best that the region has to offer, including a full day in wine country, a whale watching experience, and a romantic hot air balloon over the vineyards of Stellenbosch.
Victoria Falls is the largest waterfall in the world. Locals call it Mosi-oa-Tunya “he Smoke Which Thunders,” or Chongue “The Place of the Rainbow”. When this waterfall was discovered by explorer David Livingstone, he said it was the most beautiful sight in Africa and named it after the Queen of England.
Although most of the waterfall is located in Zambia, it has the best view from Zimbabwe. You will see the waterfall from the ground, from a bird’s eye view, meet the sunset on the Zambezi River. In addition, the waterfall gives you the opportunity to experience extreme sports. Here you can go rafting, bungee jumping and take the most spectacular flight over the falls on a zipline.

We had a perfect combined Safari and Beach vacation in Tanzania. We started our trip in Stone Town where we spent a day exploring. We then flew into the Serengeti to start our Safari. Over the next 6 days, Freddie, helped us explore the Serengeti, Ngorongoro, and Tarangire. His knowledge of the parks and animals was astounding. He was attentive and made sure we had the best opportunities to see wildlife. After 6 days of Safari we returned to Zanzibar and spent two relaxing days on the beach. Julia, from Iconic Expedition, planned everything perfectly. All the accommodations were superb. This was a trip of a lifetime for us. We are very grateful to Julia and Freddie for planning and allowing us to have a spectacular trip in Tanzania.
