We had a perfect combined Safari and Beach vacation in Tanzania. We started our trip in Stone Town where we spent a day exploring. We then flew into the Serengeti to start our Safari. Over the next 6 days, Freddie, helped us explore the Serengeti, Ngorongoro, and Tarangire. His knowledge of the parks and animals was astounding. Where do you offer safaris?
We plan journeys to Tanzania, Kenya, Zimbabwe, Botswana, Rwanda, Uganda, South Africa, Namibia and Madagascar, and we combine several countries in one itinerary.
How do pricing and payment work?
Every journey is quoted for your dates and your party, so the price depends on what you choose. Payment is by invoice. We do not take card payments on this website.
When is the best time for a safari?
The ideal time varies with the location and the animals you want to see. The dry season, from June to October, is generally considered the best: animals gather around water sources, which makes them easier to spot.
What does a typical day look like?
A typical day might involve early-morning and late-afternoon game drives or walking tours. You will have downtime during the day to relax or take part in cultural activities. Evenings might be filled with stargazing and campfires.
What accommodation do you use?
We use comfortable lodges, and every lodge is vetted and experienced by our team first. One reviewer said they felt "really pampered" during their safari.
What about meals?
Meals are provided throughout the safari. On rare occasions a packed lunch is provided. One reviewer highlighted the "high quality of lunch" they enjoyed in the bush.
Do I need vaccinations?
Yes, we strongly recommend consulting a travel health clinic before your trip. A clinic can advise on vaccinations and medication to protect against illnesses such as malaria, yellow fever and hepatitis A and B, which are common in some African regions.
What should I pack?
Pack lightweight, breathable clothing that covers your arms and legs for protection against insects and the sun. Comfortable closed-toe shoes or boots are essential for walking safaris. Do not forget a hat, sunscreen, insect repellent and binoculars.
Is an African safari safe?
African safaris are generally safe if you take precautions and follow your guide's instructions. Stay within designated areas, pay attention to safety briefings and avoid approaching or disturbing wild animals. We prioritise safety and provide experienced guides.
