of Andasibe - The thick, humid mountain rainforests of this park are filled with the hooting, grunting and wailing of 11 different species of lemur including the fabled indris. Many of the lemurs here are so well-habituated to human visitors
that they barely bother to acknowledge approaching people. This makes for some wonderful wildlife encounters. This Unesco-protected area comprises two distinct parks. Upon arrival we will check into hotel, if time allows, we will head to a local community-run reserve for a night walk in order to spot the night active animals.

Early in the morning, we walk with a local guide to discover this protected area. It is mainly covered with primary forest peculiar to the east side of Madagascar. Many rare and endemic species can be found in this rain forest. The biodiversity is so amazing; we can meet Indri indri the largest of lemurs here. His behaviour is fascinating and your guide will explain all about him. Many other species are living there such as Grey Bamboo lemur, Woolly lemur and others. Flora is also very interesting; there are several species of medicinal plants. After lunch, visit of the crocodile park which allows us to approach the crocodiles in all serenity and the island with the lemurs to observe the lemurs in its natural habitat. Return at the hotel.
