Itineraries
Day 1
Arrival and transfer to the Hotel
This day, upon arrival to Uganda, we will transfer you to a hotel in Entebbe for an overnight stay. Your safari guide will give you a short briefing about how the whole safari will go.
Day 2
Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park
After breakfast, you will depart from the hotel for a transfer to Murchison Falls National park, one of the best safari destinations when it comes to wildlife, beautiful scenery, and landscape. Your first stopover will be at Luwero market for fresh fruits, then proceed for the Rhino tracking experience at Ziwa, getting you closer to the southern white Rhinos. You will proceed to Murchison falls national park, arriving later in the evening for dinner and an overnight stay at a lodge.
Day 3
Game drive and boat cruise in Murchison Falls
After breakfast, you will go for a game drive for an encounter with several animal species that include the Buffaloes, Uganda kob, Elephants, and many others. In the afternoon, you will go for a rewarding boat cruise to the bottom of the falls. In the comfort of your boat, you will have a perfect opportunity to photograph elephants, hippos, Buffaloes, and many other animal species, including many bird species. You will hike to the top of the falls, to the point where the Nile River explodes violently, forming a very powerful waterfall. Dinner and overnight stay will be at a lodge.
Day 4
From Murchison Falls to Kibale National park
After breakfast, head to Kibale National park. Kibale National park is one of the best tourist destinations in Africa, particularly Uganda. The Park is located in southern Uganda, protecting the moist, evergreen rainforest. The park is within the districts of Kaborole and Kamwenge. Kibale has the highest concentration of primates in Africa.
Day 5
Chimpanzee tracking and afternoon Bigodi wetlands walk
After breakfast, you will go for chimp trekking, during the trekking, you may spot primates like white colobus monkeys and many more, as well as several bird species. Later in the afternoon, you will go for a nature walk at Bigodi sanctuary for the birdwatching experience. Numerous species of birds can be found here, including the rare Gonolek papyrus and many species of monkeys. Later in the evening, dinner and overnight stay will be at a lodge.
Day 6
Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National park for sunset game drives
After breakfast, we will transfer you to Queen Elizabeth National park. Commonly referred to as the “Medley of wonders”, this park is blessed with several animal species, beautiful scenery, and landscape. Upon arrival here, you will proceed for the sunset game drives to encounter many animal species that reside here. Later in the evening, we will transfer you to a lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 7
Game drive and boat cruise in Queen Elizabeth National Park
After breakfast in the lodge, you will depart early in the morning to meet with the early risers and the predators as they return to their hideouts. During the morning rides, you can see animals such as elephants, lions, buffalo, and several species of birds.
In the afternoon, you will have a boat cruise on the famous Kazinga channel that connects Lake Edward to Lake George. During the boat cruise, you can spot several animals and bird species.
Day 8
Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National park via Ishasha
On this day, you will visit the home of the rare mountain Gorillas. After breakfast in the lodge, you will depart for Bwindi Impenetrable national park. En route, you will pass via the famous Ishasha sector to meet with the rare tree-climbing lions and several other animal species. You will proceed to Bwindi for dinner and an overnight stay at a lodge.
Day 9
Mountain Gorilla tracking experience.
After breakfast in the lodge, you will depart well-equipped with your packed lunch for briefing at the park headquarters. You will then be divided into groups depending on which gorilla family you are to follow, after which you will go into the woods and begin tracking the gorillas by following the forest trails. During the Gorilla tracking experience, you may also encounter other different primate species and a variety of bird species.
After you meet the gorillas, you will have one hour for interaction, pictures, and video clips of these huge and gentle gorillas. That is truly a rewarding experience you will live to remember. After tracking the Gorillas, you will return for dinner and an overnight stay at a lodge.
Day 10
Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park
On this day, we will transfer you to Lake Mburo National park, passing via the beautiful Kigezi highlands, commonly referred to as the “Switzerland of Africa”. You will have a lunch stopover at Mbarara town, then proceed into the park for sunset game drives.
Day 11
Game drives and boat cruise on Lake Mburo
After breakfast, you will go for an early morning game drive looking for several animal species such as Elands, Impalas, Zebras, Buffaloes, and many more. In the afternoon, you will prepare for the boat cruise on Lake Mburo for a chance of meeting many water animals and bird species as well as the local fishermen.
Day 12
Morning bush walk and transfer back to Entebbe
You will depart from the lodge early morning for the guided nature walk. During this experience, you will get closer to several animal species ideals for photography. You will return to the lodge for a refresh and proceed back to Entebbe to catch up with your outbound flight.
