Ngorongoro Crater

Lake Eyasi

After breakfast, you'll depart for Ngorongoro Crater, considered by some to be the Eighth Wonder of the World. When you get your first glimpse of this vast, verdant caldera from the panoramic viewpoint, you'll soon understand why it has earned such a lofty reputation. From the comfort of your open-top vehicle, you'll be able to observe and photograph some of Africa's most recognizable faces. Your lunch will be served by the hippo pool.

Day 5

End of itinerary

This day will not leave you indifferent because we will meet two very authentic tribes! Be ready to wake up early and start a very much exciting day! The first tribe we are going to visit is Hadza. One of the last hunter-gatherer tribes in Tanzania, the Hadza number 1000. They live almost without stuff and can move around carrying everything they have on their backs. They wear pieces of cloth wrapped around them and don’t speak English. One with nature and the wild surroundings, the Hadza Tribe only consumes what they need, such as honey from the trees, leaves for their medicinal properties, and small animals on occasion. Another tribe that awaits us is the Datoga, nomadic pastoralists whose diet consists mainly of cow and goat meat and milk. In contrast to the Hadza, the Datoga women wear beautiful jewelry that they make themselves and colorful traditional wear. The bracelets around their wrists and ankles create a percussive beat for their singing, dancing, and jumping, which can go on for days and even years! Afterward, we'll transfer you to Arusha for the flight to Zanzibar (16:45–18:00). Transfer to the hotel.
