Day 1
Antananarivo
Arrival at Ivato Airport. Transfer at the Hotel AU BOIS VERT Antananarivo, an excellent choice for travelers visiting Antananarivo, offering a quiet environment alongside many helpful amenities designed to enhance your stay.
Day 2
Antananarivo–Antsiranana (Diego Suarez) – Joffreville
Early breakfast, transfer to the airport, flight to Antsiranana (Diego Suarez).
Welcome with our representative and road directly to Joffreville. Antsiranana, also known as Diego-Suarez, is the largest city in Northern of Madagascar and the third largest port on the Big Island. Although it is supposed to be the capital of the “Antakarana ethnic group”, "those of cliffs ", it is a cosmopolitan city where the diversity of the population is striking.
Offshore, the conical island Nosy Lonjo, or Sugar Loaf, is considered sacred by
local people. Overnight at a pre-booked hotel.
Day 3
Joffre Ville– Ankarana
Early breakfast, then departure to Ankarana, heading south on National 6. At
the village of Sadjoavato, we will make a small hook to the village of Irodo to
visit the Red Tsingy.
Red Tsingy are the fruit of erosion on a soil of different strata exposed by
deforestation. This surreal site can be visited on foot and is particularly exotic.
Continuation and head towards Mahamasina, gateway to the Tsingy of
Ankarana. Overnight at a pre-booked hotel.
Day 4
Tsingy de l’Ankarana
Breakfast, with our local guide we begin our walking to discover the famous
Tsingy.
The Ankarana Special Reserve is part of protected areas in Madagascar. Besides its fauna rich in endemic species to the island, this reserve presents a
geological interest, due to karst erosion, as well as cultural (presence of a sacred lake).
Extraordinary sites and landscapes are not to be outdone with the Tsingy Rary, the Grotte des Chauves Souris. Overnight at a pre-booked hotel.
Day 5
Ankarana–Diego Suarez
After breakfast, departure to Diego Suarez. Picnic on the road in a typical place. Upon arrival at Diego Suarez, transfer to your hotel for a check-in.
Then, go out to do Diego city tour: a lifestyle of a cosmopolitan city, local market.
Overnight at a pre-booked hotel.
Day 6
Diego Suarez–Antananarivo
After breakfast, following the Schedule flight, transfer to the airport, flight to Antananarivo. Meet and transfer to your hotel “Au Bois vert”, then, city tour of Antananarivo with our historian guide: Rova de Manjakamiadana, Andohalo, Palais d’Ambohitsirohatra (presidential palais), Analakaly (avenue de l’independence) etc.

Day 7
Antananarivo–Miandrivazo
Early breakfast, road to Miandrivazo, the hotest place in Madagascar. We travel through Ambatolampy where we have a stop to visit the potery foundry. We pass through Antsirabe also, the thermal city with his rickshow.
Continuation of the trip and arriving in Miandrivazo in the afternoon. Installation and overnight at Eden de la Tsiribihina. Quick visit of Miandrivazo city.
Overnight a rebooked hotel.
Day 8
Miandrivazo–Morondava
After breakfast, drive to Miandrivazo. Nice landscape along the road passing many villages.
Upon arrival in Morondava, check in at the hotel. Then, in the afternoon drive to Baobab Alley. Visit the magical tree and catch the sun downer with a nice cocktail there.
Day 9
Morondava- Antsirabe
After breakfast, visit of Betania Village by local boat. Morondava can be also used as a base for trips to the fishing village of Belo sure Mer by pirogue or the wildlife park at Kirindy.
In fact, tourists have opportunities to discover population’s lifestyle, their cults, the markets, etc. Drive to Antsirabe. Before reaching Antsirabe, visit of Lake
Tritriva full of history. Overnight at a pre-booked hotel.
Day 10
Antsirabe – Antananarivo – Home
Antsirabe city tour by rickshow: visit of thermal station and the nice city of Antsirabe. Road to Antananarivo. Transfer to Ivato Airport to take the flight
back home.
