Day 4

Samburu National Park

After breakfast, we will hit the road towards Samburu National Park. You’ll spend only 2 hours on a drive from Ol Pajeta Conservancy.

The area is a semi-arid region that is scenically and faunally dramatic under the hot equatorial sun with annual mean temperatures ranging from 18 to 30 degrees Celsius. This rugged semi-desert region, however, is home to the ‘SPECIAL 5’ game species rarely found elsewhere. Some of the rare species found in Samburu like Beisa Oryx, Reticulated Giraffe, Somali Ostrich, gerenuk, and the Gravy’s Zebra and teems with lots of other wildlife.

Day 5

Samburu National Park

You spend an entire day in the Samburu Reserve, where you will have a morning and evening game drive. You will continue to search for the rare species of the Samburu as they find relief on the River Ewaso Ng’iro that runs through the reserve.
The reserve is smaller than other reserves and national parks but offers an excellent encounter. There are several weird and wonderful wildlife species endemic to this area, such as the Gerenuk antelope, Leopard, lion, cheetah, and hyenas, which are easy to spot. For bird lovers, there are a lot of birds in the trees along the river with some of the bird species being endangered species.

Day 6

Masai Mara

After breakfast, transfer to the airstrip for the flight to Masai Mara 09:00—11:00 am (short stopover in Ol Pajeta). Meet & greet at Keerook airstrip by an Iconic guide.

You will arrive at the camp, and after resting, you will embark on a game drive. The Masai Mara is home to the Big Five: elephant, lion, leopard, buffalo, and rhino. You should be lucky enough to meet each of them. The animal world of Mara is so vivid that you can even see several kinds of animals at the same time.

In the evening in your lodge, with a glass of wine, you will flip through the photos taken during the day and realize how lucky you are to find yourself among all this beauty.

Day 7

Masai Mara

The time when the sun rises over the savannah is the best time for a safari. This is when the animals are most active. They won't hide from the sun, and you can even witness hunting. You'll go on a game drive before breakfast, later returning to the lodge for breakfast and rest.

Several options will be available to you today. How would you like to spend your day? Before your evening safari in the Masai Mara, you can visit the Masai tribes. Learn more about their traditions, to visit a traditional hut, Manyatta. (Excursion extra charge).

Spend lunchtime by the pool, enjoying a cocktail on a chaise lounge.

Or you may enjoy animal watching so much that you want to dedicate your entire day to it. In that case, almost immediately after breakfast, you'll set off across the endless expanse of savannah to see as many exclusive moments of animal life as possible. And our team will take care that you have the most delicious lunch right in the bush.

Day 8

Masai Mara

Alternatively, you can book a hot-air balloon ride and observe the life of the morning savannah from a bird's-eye view. Then we will return to the lodge for breakfast and back to the savanna because we will spend the entire day in the park on the safari. But we can stay at the lodge after breakfast, rest, have lunch, and only then go on safari when the heat is down a little.

Day 9

Lake Naivasha

Breakfast and game en route to the floor of Great Rift Valley to Lake Naivasha. Travel time 4 hours.

Arrive at Chui Lodge for lunch. Lots of activities in the afternoon and evening including a day game drive, a walking safari on Crescent Island & boat trip.
We know the constant travelling might seem like a bit much, but we promise you unrivalled sights of the most beautiful scenery, wildlife and birdlife Kenya offers.

Once you reach Lake Naivasha and disembark from the vehicle, stretch your legs out, have a sip of water or a bite of your snack and start exploring because the day will come to an end but the activities won’t. Hugged by grassy banks and shingled with cacti and sand olive trees, the area is well-known for its hiking and nature trails, day and night game drives and boating excursions. Lake Naivasha is also one of the primary drinking holes for buffalos, zebras, elands, impalas and waterbucks; it’s also one of the places you’ll see a hippo or two lazing about in the shallow waters or napping at the shores—this is nature at its very best. It’s the perfect way to get up close to these magnificent creatures who make our Earth a brighter, better place to live on. The birdwatchers among you will have a field day as the Lake is home to over 450 bird species. Take a moment to spot grey-backed fiscals, red-billed fire finches, kingfishers, herons and more in the sky and the swamps.

Day 10

Lake Nakuru National Park

Today we can let you rest at the lodge or you can plan your safari schedule with the guide. If you wish, you can also travel to Lake Nakuru National Park for the game drive and come back. It's only a 1-hour drive between the parks. So you decide how would you like to spend this day!
