3 days - Serengeti wedding at sunset
A three-day Serengeti stay for two at camp, built around a sunset wedding ceremony on the second day, with game drives on either side and a flight back to Zanzibar.
The journey
The dry season begins, with clear skies for the ceremony and animals gathering near water. Cool mornings, warm afternoons.

Upon arrival at SEU, guests are welcomed by an English-speaking guide and receive a bottle of champagne and fresh fruit as a gift. The safari game drive begins immediately after leaving the airstrip.
The Serengeti, often considered the pearl of Tanzania, is home to all of the Big Five and is famous for hosting the Great Migration. This park offers incredible experiences year-round, making it a top destination for safari enthusiasts.
We will provide a picnic-style lunch for our guests in the heart of nature, under the shade of acacia trees.

We will begin the day with a game drive at sunrise, followed by breakfast in the bush. By noon, we’ll return to camp to begin preparations for your life’s most romantic and special event.
Your wedding ceremony will take place at sunset, the best time of day on the savannah. The warm African sun setting over the horizon, along with safari lamps and candles, set the scene.
It’s time to exchange vows of eternal love and hear the solemn speech of the registrar, who will announce you as husband and wife. Celebrate with a glass of cool African champagne.
After the ceremony, enjoy a romantic sunset dinner with a wedding cake, African wines, and more. Take the evening at your own pace.

This morning, you have the option to relax on your terrace with a cup of coffee or go for a final game drive around the Serengeti plains.
You will then be transferred to the SEU airstrip, with the game drive en route, for your return flight to ZNZ or ARK at 11:30 am.
The detail
Exchange vows in the heart of the Serengeti, with only the two of you and a registrar, as the sun sets over the savannah. Safari lamps and candles light the ceremony, and a sunset dinner with a wedding cake and African wines follows.
The stay is three days at Nyikani Serengeti Camp. You fly from Zanzibar to Seronera on the first day and begin game drives at the airstrip, give the second day to the ceremony, and fly back on the third, with a last game drive first if you wish. It suits couples who want a private wedding and a safari in one short trip.

The ceremony is held at sunset, when the light is warmest. Sunset in the Serengeti falls close to 18:30 throughout the year, so plan dress and photographs around the late afternoon.
Evenings cool quickly once the sun goes down, and the open savannah can be breezy. Pack a wrap or jacket for the ceremony and neutral clothes for game drives.
You are welcomed at the Seronera airstrip with champagne and fresh fruit, and the game drive begins straight away. Keep a camera and a light layer in your hand luggage for the drive from the airstrip.
Camp staff and guides are traditionally thanked with a tip at the end of the stay. Your final documents give a guide to amounts.
